Park Pickup Gathering

At the Park Pickup Gathering a group of APO volunteers organized to clean up Sunset Park on a crisp Saturday morning. After introductions we surveyed the park and surrounding area for trash or anything that could be cleaned up. The event was conducted by the Environment and Sustainability Pledge Project Group. Both the service done as well as the amazing view of Ithaca and Cayuga lake in peak Autumn displayed how important even small acts of maintaining our natural environment are. In keeping our planet clean, even the little things count!
